Aesthetic Record Announces Launch of Telehealth Feature Available Immediately to Medical Providers in the Wake of COVID-19

Aesthetic Record, a complete EMR & Practice Management Solution, released a new, and much needed, feature today, a telehealth-enabled, HIPAA-compliant video platform to ease the burden on its 4,000 users in Aesthetic Clinics across the US. As the COVID-19 pandemic escalates, access to telehealth features provide clinics with an alternative means to perform patient consults, prescreen patients before procedures, and conduct medical exams for those in need.


Aesthetic Record is responsible for managing more than 1,000,000 patients who are now in need of cancelling or rescheduling appointments. At the same time, the Aesthetic Providers who use AR need to continue business operations, of any sort, during these challenging times.  The cloud-based system can be used anywhere via desktop and iPad, so providers and patients alike can continue with certain appointments from the safety of their homes. This new telehealth feature can be easily accessed by patients from the convenience of a unique appointment video link shared only between patient and provider.  Full transcription of the appointment is documented in the patient’s account with storage in the encrypted, HIPAA-compliant cloud.


On average, new AR customers are fully operational in less than one week with the rapid onboarding & training process. However, the telehealth feature is available immediately upon sign-up on both the Essentials and Accelerator plans with no additional cost to access it. For as little as $12 per month, a Medical Provider can begin conducting virtual consults and appointments or screening patients in his or her communities. All existing customers will have access to this feature on March 19, 2020.
